The sections of oak used are substantial and this becomes very obvious when lifting any piece. It really does weigh a ton and oozes added value not necessarily obvious from a picture. Most of the range has a waxed finish except for the dining, coffee and lamp tables which have a very attractive satin lacquer protecting them from most hot items and spillages.
