Upon receipt of your furniture order, we will contact you at the time of processing and give you a realistic estimate of delivery. Please ensure that you provide a contact telephone number to help expedite this process.
Furniture items in stock will be delivered within 28 days to anywhere within mainland Britain, except to PA, IV and KW postcodes, where there will be an additional charge which will be advised prior to order confirmation. Deliveries are available Mon-Fri 9:00am till 5:30pm (otherwise a further charge will apply, for weekend or national holidays as long as delivery is available) Large items are generally transported directly to your home in specially equipped furniture vans. Smaller items may be delivered by a parcel service/courier.
Our standard free delivery service assumes delivery by one person with necessary help being provided upon arrival. For a 2 man delivery there is a charge of £45.00, furthermore deliveries incurring the London congestion charge will be subject to an extra £30 to cover this tax. For delivery to Isle of Man, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands we will deliver to a nominated mainland GB address e.g. a port. Onward shipping from that point is the responsibility of the customer. Please note that we are currently unable to deliver to Northern Ireland
The Isle of Wight is excluded from this restriction, although we do charge £60.00 as a contribution to the high cost charged on commercial vehicles using the ferry.
We are pleased to be able to deliver to your door, though should you wish us to place or assemble your furniture, we will endeavor to take due care, however it is on the understanding that we cannot accept liability whatsoever for any damage caused to either the goods or your property.

If you change your mind when our team deliver your furniture and see it in your home, they will take it back right away. This allows us to use the same vehicle journey and delivery team to collect the goods and to protect the furniture with the original packaging.
Your money will be returned in full via the same mechanism that was originally used for the furniture transaction.
If you do decide to return any non-faulty goods, after the original delivery vehicle left the delivery address, then we will charge you the cost of the collection and the original delivery, which can total £150.
Before purchasing our furniture, we strongly suggest that you check that the furniture will fit through all the openings to where you want to put them in your home.
IMPORTANT: Mattresses can only be returned if they are unopened. Mattresses which have been opened and slept on cannot be returned. If you wish to test a mattress please keep it wrapped until you are sure you want to keep it.

All our furniture products have a full manufacturer's warranty, which is 6 months unless otherwise stated.
Refunds Refunds will be made within 30 days of notification via the same medium that was used for the original transaction. If this is for returned furniture goods, this may be subject to a mutually agreed fee for delivery costs.
Damage If there is any visible damage or there are faults with the furniture delivered to you, they must be advised to the delivery team and noted on the delivery sheet and reported to us on the day of delivery by email to
The Furniture Emporium. Any damage and/or faults reported after this time, that have not been caused by improper use, will be treated as a warranty claim and corrected by the appropriate service company appointed to carry out such work if approved by the company.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
