Delivery

Communication is the key

Delivery is FREE! There are few exceptions, please read on.

We will contact you at the time of processing and give you a realistic estimate of delivery.

Items in stock will be delivered within 28 days to anywhere within mainland Britain, except to PA, IV and KW postcodes where there will be an additional charge which will be advised prior to order confirmation. Deliveries are available Mon-Fri 9:00am till 5:30pm (otherwise a further charge will apply, for weekend or national holidays as long as delivery is available) Large items are generally transported directly to your home in specially equipped furniture vans.Smaller items may be delivered by a parcel service/courier. Our free delivery service assumes delivery by one person with necessary help being provided on arrival. For a 2 man delivery there is a charge of £45.00. Deliveries incurring the London congestion charge will be subject to an extra £30 to cover this tax. For delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands we will deliver to a nominated mainland GB address e.g. a port. Onward shipping from that point is the responsibility of the customer.
 
The Isle of Wight is excluded from this restriction although we do charge £60.00 as a contribution to the high cost charged on commercial vehicles using the ferry.

Items that are made to order including Mottisfont, New Court, Provence Collections, Aquarius Collection and Christian Harold will be delivered within 28 days of the Furniture Emporium receiving them. Christian Harold products have a lead time of approximately 8-12 weeks unless we have the item in stock. When ordering made to order items or Christian Harold products you will be eligible to opt to pay a 20% deposit with payment in full required immediately prior to despatch, simply select the 20% deposit option at checkout (please see terms).

The lead time on bespoke items is generally 8-10 weeks. We turn them around as fast as possible as it is in our interests to do so. Bespoke items are exempt from our guarantee in that providing there is no fault, we cannot accept the return of non standard items i.e. (if you do not like your design or you made an error at planning stage).

The same applies to any paint finishes requested which varies from our standard offering.

We will do all in our power to provide efficient communication throughout the process.

Guarantee
Because we are online Furniture specialists we offer a unique Money Back Guarantee, FREE return service. If you change your mind when our team deliver your Furniture and see it in your home, they will take it back right away. This allows us to use the same vehicle journey and delivery team to collect the goods and to protect the furniture with the original packaging. Your money will be returned in full to the same credit card or by cheque whichever was originally used for the transaction.

If however you decide to return any non-faulty goods at any time after the original delivery vehicle has driven away from the delivery address - for example a couple of days later - then we will charge you the cost of the collection and the original delivery, which can total £150. So you can return non-faulty goods up to 8 days after they are delivered, but to enjoy the FREE return service they must be re-packed and taken away at the time that the delivery is made.

You will appreciate therefore that it is very important that you are at home when the delivery is made to make a decision while the delivery team are still there. To take advantage of our Money Back Guarantee, we suggest you check that the goods you have ordered will fit through all the openings to the place where you want to put them in your home.

IMPORTANT: Mattresses can only be returned if they are unopened. Mattresses which have been opened and slept on cannot be returned. If you wish to test a mattress please keep it wrapped until you are sure you want to keep it.

All products have a full manufacturer's warranty, which is 6 months unless otherwise stated.

Refunds
Refunds will be made within 30 days of notification, to the same credit card that was used for the transaction or by cheque whichever was originally used for the transaction.

Damage
If there is any visible damage or there are faults in the goods delivered to you, they must be advised to the delivery team and noted on the delivery sheet and reported to us on the day of delivery by email to Furniture Emporium Webteam. Any damage and/or faults reported after this time, that have not been caused by improper use, will be treated as a warranty claim and corrected by the appropriate service company appointed to carry out such work if approved by the company.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
